The outstanding local competition will take place behind closed doors as a result of the sanitary measures required by the authority. This Friday the engines of the cars that give life to the 2021 season of the Copec RallyMobil are re-ignited, a motor competition that this weekend will see the Grand Prix of Casablanca, in the Valparaíso Region, valid for the second scoring date of the year . Until the end of this note, a total of 29 pairs appear in the pre-registered list, the same ones that will have to fulfill this day with the Shakedown, the last instance that the teams have in the race to get their cars ready and define their location in the starting grid. Late in the afternoon, at about 5:30 p.m., the formal presentation will be held in the service park installed inside the El Rosario Arriba estate in the Casablanca sector. Unfortunately this traditional instance, which allowed the contact of the teams in the race with the fans and the general public, will be held behind closed doors as a result of the health bubble required by the authority as part of the measures aimed at controlling the COVID-19 pandemic. 19. Competition The Casablanca Grand Prix contemplates covering approximately 270 kilometers divided into 13 special tests that cover about 170 kilometers, in addition to the links that total another 100 kilometers. The competition itself will begin on Saturday morning with four so-called special tests and another four evening tests. They are: PE1: Valle Hermoso 1 (18.07 km) PE2: Los Morros 1 (11.64 km) PE3: Matetic 1 (21.64 km) PE4: Rosario 1 (4.30 km) ----- - PE5: Valle Hermoso 2 (18.07 km) PE6: Los Morros 2 (11.64 km) PE7: Matetic 2 (21.64 km) PE8: Rosario 2 (4.30 km) Meanwhile, the Sunday day has arranged four special tests and the PowerStage. The first two PE will be run in the morning, leaving the remaining three tests for after noon. They are: PE9: Rosario 3 (4.30 km) PE10: Valle Hermoso 3 (18.07 km) PE11: Los Morros 3 (11.64 km) PE12: Matetic 3 (21.64 km) PE13: Mobil1 PowerStage ( 4.30 km) First positions The second scoring date of the Copec RallyMobil begins with the experienced pair made up of Pedro Heller and Marc Martí at the top of the table of the highest category (RC2N) after winning in the Rinconada-Los Andes Grand Prix run in early August. The Joker team duo, which this year debuts their new Citroën C3 Rally2, adds a total of 23 points, closely followed by Emilio Fernández, from the Susaron Rally Team, with 19 units. In third and fourth position appear the drivers Benjamín Israel (Monster Team) and Jorge Martínez (CBTech Rally by Skoda) with 14 and 13 points, respectively.
