Science, technology, engineering and mathematics have historically been male-dominated fields and even women who wanted to pursue it were often held back by society. However, despite the difficulties of the job and societal pressure, there are many phenomenal women who not only pursued science but excelled in their field thunderously. The contributions were crucial to advancing their field and bringing it to where it is today. Here are a variety of books on the formidable female scientists from across the world.
