[Auto] Arjuna Awardee Deepa Malik to voice personal AI assistant in MG Astor

MG Motor India aims to deliver a unique voice experience with a personal AI assistant in the upcoming MG Astor SUV. The British automaker announced that the voice would be powered by Paralympic athlete and Khel Ratna Awardee Dr. Deepa Malik, who will humanize the voice of the personal AI assistant in the upcoming MG Astor SUV. The MG Astor is the ICE-derivative of the MG ZS EV, which currently retails in India. We expect MG Motor to launch the upcoming MG Astor during the coming festive season.

The MG Astor will be the first vehicle in its class to be equipped with Autonomous Level 2 technology. It is powered by mid-range radars and a multi-purpose camera that performs a series of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), which include Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Departure Prevention, Intelligent Headlamp Control (IHC), Rear Drive Assist (RDA) and Speed Assist System amongst others.
