Ford is living a new era in which it seems that they are hitting each and every one of the novelties that they are launching on the market. The shift in their strategy seems to be helping them improve their accounts in those markets where they are present. In Europe it also seems that they are taking flight, especially since they have been several years with the accounts in the red. Be that as it may, the party should not stop and for that they work ...

The arrival of the Mustang Mach-E and Bronco has been the first step in its new strategy, but after them will come more, many more. Of course, a large part of its future projects are framed in the fashion segments: SUV's and off-road vehicles and pick-ups in the case of America. Well, it seems that its range is still limping, especially if we refer to sports-cut versions. Yes, because they would be thinking of giving the Raptor a little brother ...

The Ford Rattler could be located, in the range of the firm, below the Raptor versions

And you may wonder why we know that a minor version of the Raptor could be on the way? Well, very simple, because the legal team of the firm has requested the legal protection of the Ford Rattler name. As recorded in the United States Patent and Trademark Office of the United States, a few days ago they started the file to reserve this name. And you will insist again. What clue indicates that the Ford Rattler takes this position in the range?

Very easy, just translate the names and place them in the animal hierarchy. Raptor means "raptor" and today it is reserved for the most powerful and radical Rangers and F-150s in their respective ranges. For its part, Rattler means "rattlesnake" and precisely this animal is the food of many raptors. Therefore, if our cabals are correct, the future Ford Rattler could be an access version of the great Raptor.

And so far we can read, because several sources have tried to contact Ford to tell them about their plans and have had no response. However, we must indicate that the presentation of the patent application has been very recent, so it will still take a while for them to give them the go-ahead for their use. Until then, those responsible for the firm will work without making much noise. Who knows, maybe in a few months we will get a surprise ...
