Ducati Scrambler Kena Recall di AS, Karena Cahaya Lampu Sein Redup

Ducati issued a recall order for the 2021 Scrambler Nightshift model. The recall occurred due to a problem with the front and rear turn signal lights. The turn signal light was not bright enough for other drivers to see. According to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) report, the campaign involved at least 228 units in North America.

According to the submitted documents, material errors and the installation of front and rear turn signal components caused the Nightshift Scrambler to be recalled. Dim turn signal light results in poor visibility, especially at night and can increase the risk of an accident.Vehicles with this defect do not guarantee the "effective projected luminous lens area requirement" specified by Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108. The affected bikes were manufactured between 5 February 2021 and 3 April 2021. The affected VIN ranges are not sequential, and are between ML0KAFPM8MT004187 to ML0KAFPM1MT004600. Once the problem was identified, the production line for the Scrambler Nightshift assembled from April 4, 2021 onwards began to be repaired. On the other hand, this problematic unit is assembled in the same factory. It is possible that other variants of the Scrambler were affected. But until now Ducati North America has not announced another type. Even so, the official network has been warned and they will fix the faulty turn signal free of charge. Owners will be given information from 23 June 2021 to 30 June 2021. Ducati's recall number is SRV-RCL-21-009. And the NHTSA number for this recall is 21V-361.

Ducati Scrambler Nightshift

To note, the Nightshift Scrambler is basically a fusion of two models. It uses cafe racer style seats, wide aluminum handlebars and cropped front fenders. Use the same dual exhaust as his brother. The rear mudguard has been completely removed, only doubling the mudguard to resist splashing water. Nightshift is equipped with Pirelli MT60 tires with 18-inch front and 17-inch spoke wheels. The straight, narrow handlebar isn't a cafe racer-style clip-on, and it comes with bar-end race mirrors. Side mounted retro license plates give the impression of a flat track riding position, but are much more relaxed than they seem.It has an 803 cc mechanical heart, L-twin, Desmodromic Distribution, two valves per cylinder and is liquid cooled. With the engine wrapped in black, it can generate power of 73 hp at 8,250 rpm and peak torque of 66.2 Nm at 5,750 rpm. And it has passed the Euro 5 emission test.Nightshift is equipped with LED DRLs for the headlamp and stop lamp, and a small round LCD instrument panel on the right with concise information. The most conspicuous part is only the gear indicator, speed and fuel indicator. Braking relies on calipers from Brembo and ABS technology and Cornering ABS from Bosch become standard devices.
