H O L D F I R E 流 Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 Following a successful first partnership between Citroën and Saint James in Japan, the two French brands are teaming up again in a limited series based on C3, this time distributed on the French market. The two firms wish to share through the new C3 Saint James their common vision “on French savoir-être and know-how, accessible to all”. A first Japanese adventure for the versatile French city car in the Saint James edition (350 units distributed in Japan in 2019) gave the carmaker and the clothing brand the desire to team up again. This time, in addition to Japan where it will be offered again, the French city car will be distributed in certain European countries (France including DOM-TOM, United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands). This Tuesday, June 1, the new limited edition C3 Saint James is therefore arriving in France with a style “combining chic and relaxation”, testifying to the shared vision of the two companies in terms of French know-how. Only offered with the 110 hp PureTech petrol engine associated with a 6-speed manual gearbox or an EAT6 automatic gearbox, the C3 Saint James is already available to order from € 21,600 (BVM6). Count € 1,400 more to be able to benefit from the automatic transmission. Blue, white, red Blue, white, red + 14 Citroën C3 Saint-JamesPhoto Credit - Citroën Like any self-respecting limited series, the Citroën C3 Saint James is distinguished by a set of rather discreet aesthetic specifics. Based on the high-end Shine finish, the Saint James limited edition is thus offered with a two-tone roof (black or white), associated with the Color White Pack. All the colors usually available on the model can be combined with this limited edition, with the exception of Spring Blue. In addition to the 16-inch Hellix Diamantées alloy wheels, the C3 Saint James sports a blue, white and red roof sticker which delimits what Citroën calls the “roof capsule”, an ovoid shape carved into the roof. Under each mirror is an exclusive small metal plate, featuring the blue-white-red pattern, just like the specific rear quarter sticker. Comfort and elegance Comfort and elegance + 14 Citroën C3 Saint-JamesPhoto Credit - Citroën The Saint James edition of the C3 has Advanced Comfort seats in the passenger compartment. They are dressed in an elegant gray fabric. A decorative herringbone band, labeled "Saint James" and embellished with a red stitching, is located at the top of the back of the armchairs. These subtle details are reminiscent of the famous Norman brand's sweaters. White stitching completes the interior style in the seats, dashboard and specific mats. Finally, the C3 Saint James is equipped with a blue and red decorative door strap with its Saint James snap button but also a plate with the Saint James logo, inseparable from Mont Saint-Michel, at the lever of the gearbox. For the rest, the equipment is what the standard Shine finish offers, with 12 driving aids, 5 connectivity technologies and the central 7-inch touchscreen tablet. Available to order in France since June 1, the C3 Saint James limited edition will arrive in Citroën points of sale in September 2021.
