The frozen lakes of northern Sweden are the favorite terrain for car manufacturers who want to test their future vehicles in peace and in difficult weather conditions. If it does not revolutionize the Logan formula, its appearance has nevertheless improved a little, with a ribbed hood, an elongated front face, a greater width and new door handles to replace the current less qualitative elements. The current model is based on an aging platform of the Renault-Nissan Alliance, which has been in existence since 2002, just like the current Duster, which was still launched in 2018. But since Renault plans to equip 80% of its models modular platform “CMF” by 2022 (introduced by the Clio V), it would be logical that the future Logan is also equipped. It is currently difficult to comment on the engines that will equip the new Logan and its MCV variant. The latter should however retain their useful DNA, with reliable and frugal mechanics.
