H O L D F I R E 流 Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 The frozen lakes of northern Sweden are the favorite terrain for car manufacturers who want to test their future vehicles in peace and in difficult weather conditions. But that's without counting on the courage of spy photographers who brave the cold weather to capture a few shots of the developing models that will make the automotive market of tomorrow. The next Dacia Logan MCV, still under a thick camouflage, thus lent itself to the game in spite of itself. What does the law say by Me Marchac: using your phone while driving, what are the penalties? A trio of new Dacia was presented last year (end of 2020), with an emphasis on the compact Sandero and its adventurer variant Sandero Stepway. A little behind, the Logan with its three-box body made little noise with us, and for good reason: it will not be marketed in France because the very low sales of the current generation do not justify integrating it into the within our market. The low-cost sedan will however be sold in other markets and thanks to its never-before-seen spy photos we now have confirmation that Dacia is preparing the Logan MCV station wagon variant. The second generation of the model is still marketed in our latitudes and if the Logan sedan will disappear well in France with the third generation, it is possible that the new MCV station wagon that results from it will be back in the catalog. This new model is expected to be presented later this year or early next year. If it does not revolutionize the Logan formula, its appearance has nevertheless improved a little, with a ribbed hood, an elongated front face, a greater width and new door handles to replace the current less qualitative elements. The current model is based on an aging platform of the Renault-Nissan Alliance, which has been in existence since 2002, just like the current Duster, which was still launched in 2018. But since Renault plans to equip 80% of its models modular platform “CMF” by 2022 (introduced by the Clio V), it would be logical that the future Logan is also equipped. It is currently difficult to comment on the engines that will equip the new Logan and its MCV variant. The latter should however retain their useful DNA, with reliable and frugal mechanics.
