The Government Team of the City Council of perros has awarded on Friday morning at the Local Government Board, the repair and improvement works of the animal shelter to the company Ryal Construcciones with an endowment of 70,700 euros and a contract duration of two months.

The Consistory affirms that it is "some works that will serve to adapt some facilities that present many deficiencies". The initiative will be carried out at the proposal of UPL.

Last December the project was approved. The works, in their entirety, have a budget of 104,354 euros (VAT included). The City Council justified the expense because the kennel facilities show many "deficiencies".

Last year this award went to Antonio Rodríguez Jiménez (Albacete, 1978) for his work 'Our site in the world', a work that was selected among the 725 submitted.

Collaboration agreements
On the other hand, the City Council of León has approved during this morning's session a total of eight collaboration agreements with different entities.

In this regard, the Governing Board has given the green light to an agreement between the City Council and the Saleal Association for the financing of sanitation projects that includes the maximum amount of financing by Saleal that is set at 350,000 euros

The agreement, the purpose of which is to establish the conditions under which the collaboration between the Commonwealth and the City Council will be carried out, has a validity period of three years.

Support for musical entities

In cultural matters, a collaboration agreement between the City Council and the Orquesta Ciudad de León Odón Alonso has been approved for the granting of a direct nominative grant for the development and organization of activities and concerts during this year, 2021, for an amount of 25,000 euros.

Also within the sports field, the Local Government Board has approved a collaboration agreement between the León City Council and the Club Kayak Pico Azul for the promotion of canoeing, an agreement through which the Consistory undertakes to provide institutional support.

Social integration subsidies
Also in today's session, the Government Team has approved the public call for subsidies under non-competitive competition in matters of social integration to entities of the assistance and social integration system for drug addicts of Castilla y León and the municipality of León with a endowment of 4,000 euros.

The objective of this aid is to promote the execution of training activities in social skills and emotional management by these entities in specific centers.
