Suv Teramont Volkswagen 2021 Volkswagen Teramont debuts Four years after the debut of the Atlas (Teramont for Mexico), Volkwagen has made the respective facelift to this SUV that came to replace the Touareg in North America. This time around, the three-row truck offers a more attractive design, interior upgrades, a higher level of technology and more safety systems. Visually, the Volkswagen Teramont 2021 follows in the footsteps of the Atlas Cross Sport by obtaining the same front design. To achieve this, you get a redesign to the grille, fascias, headlights, and taillights. It is worth mentioning that because the fasciae are more robust, the length of the body is 7.5 centimeters longer than its predecessor. In the case of the R-line version, this new stance is more aggressive, through uniquely designed fascias, side skirts and 20 or 21-inch aluminum alloy wheels, as well as R-line badging. Volkswagen Teramont 2021 also gets updates to the interior, this can be noticed on the steering wheel, in the contrast stitching on the leather seats and door panels, and in the 8-inch infotainment system. It also includes a digital instrument cluster, a Fender premium audio system, ambient lighting, three-zone air conditioning, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, wireless phone charging and remote start. To the above, we must add the suite of security systems composed of frontal collision warning, autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian monitoring, blind spot monitor and rear traffic alert. Optional equipment is Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping System, Park Distance Control, Park Steering Assist and Aerial Vision Camera. As a 2021 model year, the Teramont is available with two engines: a 276-hp V6 and a 235-hp turbocharged four-cylinder TSI engine. Both engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and are available with Volkswagen's 4Motion all-wheel drive system. Assembled at the Volkswagen factory in Chattanooga, Tennessee, alongside the Volkswagen Passat and the new Atlas Cross Sport, the Atlas (Teramont) will make its appearance in the course of 2020.
