intel bleep control chat de voz censura

Bleep is a program from Intel that filters voice chat so players don't have to suffer insults. They want online gambling to be more secure and inclusive.

Thanks to online gaming, we can play with people from all over the world and communicate with them through text chat and voice chat. But this type of communication presents the possibility that we will come across toxic players who make anti-minority comments, such as homophobic or sexist comments. Text chat is relatively easy to moderate, voice chat is not, and is something Intel wants to address with its Bleep software.

A control to voice chat to make it safe

Intel has introduced software designed to filter out harmful language and hate speech in voice chats when gaming. Bleep will use artificial intelligence processing to eliminate insults and hate speech, even before they reach the other extreme. The software will constantly record the conversation as text, filtering out any abusive language and monitoring the conversation to remove the hate message when appropriate.

The content that can be censored is the misogynistic message, insults, racist and homophobic messages, among others. Users will be able to say to what degree they want the filter to act, in case users can take some of the insults. According to Intel, 22% of users can end up leaving games after being insulted or after receiving hate messages.

Bleep was announced in 2019, but now Intel has plans to release a final version to consumers this year. They have not specified how they will distribute it, but they can easily integrate the program into prefabricated computers or laptops that carry some of its components, as well as put it as a free download on their website.
