SougarLord
Given the shortage of cutting-edge graphics made by those who make a living from mining, AMD is not going to limit it in its RDNA graphics. Their position is totally opposite to that of NVIDIA, who have tried by all possible means. It is cryptocurrency miners who are making many professional and home users unable to easily access graphics cards like NVIDIA's RTXs or AMD's RDNAs. Its ability to process data and handle high information makes the graphs attractive if you are going to mine cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum. AMD still does not limit the mining capacity of its RDNAs NVIDIA has wanted its high-end RTX graphics cards to have a workload limiter to try and stop mining. They were doing well until they accidentally released a driver that removes that limitation. On the contrary, AMD stands against this limitation. AMD's Nish Neelalojanan answered with a blunt "no" when asked about the possibility of limiting cryptocurrency mining on his charts. They will not do it in cryptocurrency mining, or in any other type of work for the graph. RDNA was designed from the ground up for gaming and RDNA 2 doubles down on this. Infinity Cache and a smaller bus width were carefully chosen to achieve a very specific game success rate. However, mining specifically enjoys, or scales with, greater bandwidth and bus width, so there will be limitations from an architectural level to the mining itself. Nish Neelalojanan of AMD With this, they make RDNA 2 AMDs not particularly highly desired for scale mining. They are not the most effective for Ethereum mining and that limitation is already included in their architecture.
