Suzuki shows its seriousness to follow the Qatar MotoGP. The racing team bearing the letter S is the only team that has survived in Doha Qatar, even though the MotoGP pre-season test ended on March 12.All team members including Joan Mir and Alex Rins will stay in Qatar for five weeks. It starts from early March to April 4 as the second series of the Qatar MotoGP.The Suzuki Team Director Shinichi Sahara decided this. He wanted the team to be more prepared, besides that, he wanted to avoid contracting Covid-19 if it had to split up again."I ask the whole team to stay in Qatar between test and race days, this is to avoid the risk of contracting Covid-19," said Sahara."Everyone accepted this decision, including riders Joan Mir and Alex Rins. This makes me proud of this team."

Sahara understands leaving the family for five weeks is not easy. But all Suzuki members want to do that.

"When I was told that we were the only ones remaining in Qatar, including the riders, I immediately thought: Wow, I have to be proud of my people," said Sahara.

"This proves once again that we are a solid team, because we face difficult problems together, as a strong team and also a family."
