Designer Vivienne Westwood has collaborated again with the Asics shoe brand for the latest GEL-Kayano 27 LTX collection. This latest collaboration is inspired by latex stockings filed by Vivienne Westwood. There are three futuristic color silhouettes offered in this collection. The three colors are Vapor, Citrus, and Black. In this new collection, the Vivienne Westwood x Asics GEL-Kayano 27 LTX offers a sock-like construction. It is covered with semi-transparent TPU material and includes latex stockings. The outer is fitted with a co-brand that is attached to the lateral ankle.

 

There are also Asics embellishments and contrasting stripes of design on the toes, heels, and around the ankles. In addition, the zipper is positioned on the side to secure the TPU fabric. The new collection also incorporates FlyteFoam technology paired with the patented GEL Asics cushion in the midsole at the bottom for better bounce.

 

In addition, shoes are also designed with durability and functionality in mind. The design is a departure from the British punk or new wave sensibilities seen in the latest GEL-Kayano 26 collection. However, the shape is much slimmer and futuristic. The new Vivienne Westwood x ASICS collaboration was launched worldwide on Saturday and is priced at US $ 240 or around Rp. 3.4 million.
