Triumph

Triumph Daytona Moto2 was officially launched in limited numbers. The launch coincided with the British MotoGP which took place at the Silverstone Circuit. It is said, only 1,530 units entered the production line. A total of 765 units were marketed for the European and Asian regions. The rest is for Canada and USA. The new Triumph Daytona, was created to mark Triumph's involvement in the Moto2 World Championship, having taken over from Honda in early 2019 as an engine supplier. This is the first street legal model, officially licensed from the MotoGP rights holder, Dorna Sport. In appearance, the Daytona Moto2 765 is similar to the other Daytona versions. But there are some changes and improvements that are quite significant. Most noticeably, this new motorbike uses a full carbon body with Union Jack graphics. The overall dark color scheme makes it even more special. You can see carbon black almost all over the body, graphite gray and silver aluminum parts of the frame, exhaust and swing arm. The chassis uses the new aluminum twin-spar model, which is different from the older generation. So it's lighter. This motorbike also uses the latest Brembo calipers. The sophisticated brakes have been used on the Ducati Panigale V4. The British manufacturer, also gave the best in the sector of its legs. The front and rear suspension uses Ohlins racing specifications, namely the NIX30 front forks and the rear TTX36 monoshock. Supported by race spec tires Pirelli Diablo Super Corsa S.Because it focuses on the track (track oriented), Daytona Moto2 only uses a single seat. There is no pillion seat. The electronic system is also a derivative of the MotoGP middleweight motorbike, providing 5 driving modes: Rain, Road, Sports, Track and Rider settings that can be adjusted according to taste. There is also a Triumph Shift Assist or quickshifter device, which is compatible for up-shift as well as down-shift.

Performance The 765 cc three-cylinder engine from the Street Triple RS, has a slight change in the innards. The valve, camshaft and crankshaft did not escape optimization. Its function is to make the engine speed lighter. Its power produces 129 hp at 12,250 rpm, and 80 Nm of torque at 9,750 rpm. While the Moto2 produces 139 hp. In order to boost performance, Triumph collaborated with Arrow. They collaborated to make a muffler, the construction is similar to that of the Moto2 but still road legal. Do not forget the full TFT instrument panel so that the rider feels like riding a Moto2 racing motorbike. Because it focuses on the track (track oriented), Daytona Moto2 only uses a single seat. Because it uses high-end specs, that's why the price of the Triumph Daytona Moto2 765 is high, reaching 15,765 Pounds Sterling, aka IDR 275 million. This motorbike will be available in UK dealer networks in early 2020.
