SougarLord
An off-duty ambulance driver slaughtered a nurse and his co-worker at the Prince of Asturias Hospital in Alcalá de Henares this Saturday. The Police are now investigating the relationship between the two, with the possibility that there was some type of prior confrontation as the main hypothesis of the murder. The alleged aggressor, a 39-year-old Spanish national, is being held at the local police station. Police sources have detailed to ABC that the event took place around two twenty in the afternoon, in the emergency room. According to the first investigations, it has been completely premeditated. The attacker, a driver for a company subcontracted by the Ministry of Health, was on vacation but showed up at the hospital in his work uniform. Thus, he circumvented any control at the entrance and went directly to the emergency room, where the victim, Sergio Luis G., 41, was. There he, armed with a large knife, he lunged by surprise and, according to investigators, stabbed him in the neck. The aggressor was detained by two police officers who were taking custody at the hospital and he has also been treated for a minor cut on one hand, presumably the result of a struggle they sustained. The deceased was treated in the same room by hospital personnel, but the resuscitation maneuvers were useless and could only confirm his death. Scientific and Judicial Police agents are already working in the place to try to resolve what happened. Summa psychologists also attend to family members and colleagues.
