Posted March 4, 2021 Share Posted March 4, 2021 RAMALLAH, Thursday, March 4, 2021 (WAFA) – Palestine recorded 2300 new coronavirus cases, 18 deaths, and 1694 recoveries in the last 24 hours, today said Minister of Health Mai Alkaila. She said in her daily report on coronavirus in Palestine that the West Bank had 1721 new cases, 12 deaths, and 1250 recoveries. East Jerusalem recorded 423 new cases over two days, five deaths, and 291 recoveries, while the Gaza Strip had 156 new cases, one death, and 153 recoveries. Alkaila said 135 patients remain in intensive care, among them 32 are on respirators. Total active coronavirus cases reached 9.4 percent of the total cases recorded since the outbreak in Palestine in March of last year, while 89.5 percent have recovered, and 1.1 percent have died.
