WilkerCSBD
Both models benefit from a renovation in practically all their sections. The engines, meanwhile, have been updated to the Euro 5 emissions standard without the performance of both being affected. Aprilia has a strong start to the year 2021. After the end of 2020 dominated by the launch of the RS 660, Noale's men welcome the new year by presenting the 2021 versions of two of their most extreme models: the Aprilia RSV4 (also its Factory variant ) and the Aprilia Tuono V4. Aprilia RSV4 2021: improving the present Starting with the rogue model of the Italian firm. The new Aprilia RSV4 2021 boasts a design inspired by the new RS 660. This, together with fins integrated into the fairing (no longer an added element), allow the bike to behave better at high speeds. On the other hand, the headlights now include the function of "cornering lights" (a pair of additional lights that illuminate the inside of the curve). On the mechanical level, the V4 has Euro 5 approval and maintains the power of previous models, estimated at 217 hp. Of course, it gains more torque (they don't tell us how much) thanks to improvements such as the new exhaust system or a displacement that grows from 1,077 to 1,099 cc. It also benefits from a new Magnetti Marelli 11MP control unit and a 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) that improves electronic management and introduces engine brake control. To this is added 6 driving modes (three for the circuit and three for the road), traction control, ABS or antiwheelie. The ergonomics of the ride are improved thanks to the new tank and the new seat, which allow the rider to be better attached to the motorcycle. This is completed by more functional and intuitive electrical controls, along with larger and more informative TFT instrumentation. Regarding the chassis, the RSV4 2021 integrates a new swingarm, lighter and with a lower reinforcement, which is based on the one used by the MotoGP RS-GP. As the transalpine brand argues, it is designed to reduce masses and increase rear end stability during acceleration. Finally, the Aprilia RSV4 2021 will arrive in the form of two versions: standard (with the Dark Losail color) and Factory (Aprilia Black and Lava Red). This latest version is differentiated by an expanded equipment that includes, among other things, forged aluminum wheels, Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 semi-active suspension and Brembo Stylema calipers. Aprilia Tuono V4 2021: same changes In the case of the Tuono V4 2021, the Italian hypernaked also draws on the design of the Aprilia RS 660. Thus, it inherits the double fairing with the aerodynamic appendages and a set of headlights that also integrate the "cornering lights" function. Like the superbike, the Tuono V4 benefits from more space and better comfort thanks to the new shape of the tank and tail. The engine in this case remains unchanged: a 1,077 cc V4 that develops a power of 175 hp and a maximum torque of 121 Nm. A new exhaust system is added to the Euro 5 homologation. The Magnetti Marelli 11MP control unit and the new six-axis IMU improve the electronic management of the bike: adding 6 riding modes and various systems to control wheelies, engine brake or traction. The cycle part also says hello to the new aluminum swingarm and with a lower reinforcement bar, inspired by the one used by the Aprilia in the Motorcycle World Championship. As with its older sister, the aim is to improve the behavior of the rear end during acceleration. The new Aprilia Tuono V4 2021 will hit the market in two variants: standard and Factory. The latter in the Aprilia black color and with the best possible suspension equipment, the Öhlins Samrt EC 2.0.
