And it is that with everything that happened with prices, it seems that we cannot talk about stability in the sector, at least until the end of this 2021 and to show a button: the main manufacturers of NAND Flash continue to bet on new batch TLC memories and they leave their new generation QLCs parked. Does it command profitability in the short term thanks to the new 3D TLC?

 

Of the top six manufacturers of 3D NAND Flash in the world (if we count WD as independent), three of them are going to bet once again on TLC NAND Flash instead of launching new technologies based on QLC. The big question in the middle of 2021 is, why do you keep launching new versions of 3-bit NAND Flas if what you want is to increase capacity and decrease cost?
