Reliance on cloud-based collaboration platforms like Microsoft Teams and Slack is going to increase as many companies offer telecommuting through the second half of next year.

With the decline in hardware, software-defined models will become even more important. Devices will no longer be as attractive and the focus will be more on software-defined models because computers will lose their appeal, according to Veeam. Ten years ago, gadgets were the new toys that everyone wanted to have, but that interest has not lasted as long as we had anticipated.
