The Europa League presents a great opportunity for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to win his first trophy as Manchester United manager so he is expected to name a strong side. United are going into the game with some injuries as Paul Pogba, Edinson Cavani and Donny van de Beek are all out. Exciting winger Amad Diallo was named as part of the 22 players squad which traveled to Turin where the game will be played due to Covid-19 restrictions placed by the Spanish government De Gea, Henderson, Grant; Bailly, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Telles, Tuanzebe, Wan-Bissaka, Williams; Amad, Fernandes, Fred, James, Mata, Matic, McTominay, Shoretire; Greenwood, Martial, Rashford. Solskjaer and Mason Greenwood took part in the Pre-Match press conference, so it is safe to assume that Greenwood starts against Sociedad. Solskjaer also hinted that Juan Mata who has not played for United for quite some time would be involved Manchester United Expected Starting Lineup against Real Sociedad Although players like Bruno Fernandes, Harry Maguire, and Wan-Bissaka have played a lot of minutes this season, Solskjaer might not choose to rest them as the Europa League presents a great chance for him to win his first trophy as Manchester United manager. Juan Mata’s playmaking skills will help create more chances for United’s forwards who have struggled in recent games to score goals. Dean Henderson will get another chance to stake a claim as United’s number 1 goalkeeper. With De Gea under severe scrutiny for his form in recent games, Henderson can displace him with good performances in the Europa League.
