_Happy boy
Train Sim World 2 is a service game in every sense of the word: it’s regularly updated with new routes, trains, and timetables. The game has grown so much over the past few months, however, that it now has three full Trophy sets attached to it – an unprecedented number for a non-compilation game, like Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. So far the game has an eye-watering 253 Trophies to unlock. There is a core list with a Platinum Trophy, but everything else relates to various DLC packs. Because there are restrictions on how many Trophies a single set can have, developer Dovetail Games keeps adding entirely new sets on top. This third set will allow it to bloat its overall total to above 300 Trophies over the course of the coming year. This isn’t uncommon, of course: Hitman 2 also utilised multiple sets to accommodate its wealth of DLC. As games continue to grow, we reckon Sony might need to come up with a more elegant solution to this. For now, the new Trophies in Train Sim World 2, of which there are ten to unlock, pertain to the Southeastern High Speed route, which is due out this week.
