Dr_-_PiKaChU
The least we can say is that we absolutely did not expect it. If we knew that Tesla would soon be restyling its Model S and Model X, we did not think it was going to happen so soon, when no clue had been given by Elon Musk, usually very talkative on social networks. And yet, here is that last night, the Californian brand lifted the veil on the new versions of its two flagship models, to everyone's surprise, while its boss did not consider it necessary to organize a keynote as it is. usually customary. However, and without acting as a revolution, the changes are numerous on the two electric vehicles, which offer themselves a real facelift and at the same time a good publicity stunt. If the Model S was mainly talked about, the Tesla Model Xis not to be outdone and for its part benefits from the same developments as the sedan, both technically and mechanically. We invite you to discover all the new features of this restyled version now! At first glance, the changes are rather subtle, and almost imperceptible to the untrained eye. However, the developments are indeed there, and focus in particular on the front bumper, a little more refined than on the previous version, reminiscent of that of the Tesla Model 3 . Same thing at the rear, while the general style remains unchanged. Finally, we will note the arrival of new 19-inch rims, and that's it for the exterior. Because most of this restyling is actually in the cockpit, which receives a brand new dashboard. This then integrates a touch screenof 17 inches, no longer in a vertical position but now installed horizontally, as in the Model 3, once again. The SUV nevertheless retains its instrument cluster, positioned above a new steering wheel and which is already talking about its shape, inspired by aeronautics. Finally, a new screen appears at the rear, integrating itself into the central console. In addition to these aesthetic aspects, the Tesla Model X range has also been revamped, now offering a choice between two versions. The first, called Grande Autonomie , has two engines and can then travel 580 km / h, while being able to reach a speed of 250 km / h, for a 0 to 100 km / h shot in 3.9 seconds. The second variation, to say the least unexpected and that we thought reserved for the Model S is the Plaid. It then claims no less than 1,020 horsepower from the alliance of three electric motors, making it possible to achieve the exercise from 0 to 100 km / h in just 2.6 seconds for a maximum speed of 262 km / h. Top-flight performance which obviously comes at the expense of autonomy, which then drops to 547 km, which nevertheless remains more than honorable.
