Mercedes Clase S

Mercedes started production of its flagship, the Mercedes S-Class, a few months ago. It is for many the best car on the planet and the most advanced, but there can always be problems. In fact, it was just called for overhaul for a problem in the steering system.

The purpose of the recall is to remedy a defect in one of the steering components, specifically in the tie rods. Their adjustment may be incorrect, which could lead to serious consequences. In other words, it could cause an accident due to loss of control in the direction.

The star brand produces this luxurious model at Factory 56 in Sindelfingen. Daimler has invested no less than 730 million euros in this factory to prepare the manufacture of the model in question, having recently highlighted the new standards for the construction of automobiles.

At the moment, the power ranges from 286 hp for the S-Class 350 d diesel, to 435 hp for the S 500 petrol. More powerful engines are expected later on, as well as the even more luxurious and special variant signed by Maybach.
