[Auto] The new Toyota Highlander already rolls in Spain: These are its prices

The new generation of Toyota Highlander is designed for the European market. In fact, in just a few days we will begin to see it already available in dealerships in our country. What's more, we can now inform you about their official prices, as well as their equipment levels and main features.

It may not be a well-known model in Spain, but the Highlander has been active for many years in other markets outside of Europe, where it has been a successful model. Now it comes here to position itself as the largest among Toyota's hybrid SUVs, that is, above the RAV4.

On a technical level, the new Toyota Highlander combines a 2.5-liter Atkinson heat engine with two electric motors, one in the front and the other in the rear. It is therefore a smart all-wheel drive car (AWD-i). In addition, it has several driving modes (Normal, Sport and Trail), as well as an independent EV operating mode. The combined power is 248 hp.

 

Safety and equipment

Before moving on to prices, we must talk about safety equipment and assistants. As standard, the Toyota Highlander features the Toyota Safety Sense, which includes pre-collision safety to avoid collisions and accidents (pedestrians and cyclists), adaptive cruise control, trajectory maintenance system, involuntary lane departure alert with steering assistance, automatic high beams and traffic sign recognition.

Other standard equipment are Full LED headlights, blind spot detector, rain sensor, front fog and active headrest. To this should be added tri-zone climate control, hands-free access and start, heated seats, 8-inch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android, 20-inch wheels and wireless charging. All of this, as I say, standard, or what is the same, from the Advance finish.

Top finish, Luxury, adds stand-up tailgate, heated front and rear seats, heated steering wheel, 10-inch Head-Up Display, 12.3-inch center screen, 360-degree camera, 1,200-watt JBL equipment and panoramic roof.
