The Skoda Rapid employs a 3-cylinder 1.0-litre TSI (turbocharged stratified injection) petrol engine that can be paired either with a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AT.

The Skoda Rapid 1.0 TSI is now priced between Rs 7.79 lakh and Rs 13.29 lakh (ex-showroom).

The prices of the Skoda Rapid 1.0 TSI have increased for the first time since the mid-size sedan's introduction in India in May 2020. However, the hike is not standard across the entire Rapid range. The prices of some variants have remained same. Other trims have become dearer in the range of Rs 20,000-Rs 30,000.

At the heart of the Skoda Rapid is 3-cylinder 1.0-litre TSI (turbocharged stratified injection) petrol engine that develops 110PS of maximum power and 175Nm of peak torque. The motor can be paired either with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic torque converter. Skoda Auto India claims a mileage of 18.97kmpl for the Rapid MT and 16.24kmpl for the Rapid AT.

The Skoda Rapid MT is available in six variants -- Rider, Rider Plus, Ambition, Onyx, Style and Monte Carlo. The Skoda Rapid AT is offered in all but the Rider trim. Below are the updated prices (ex-showroom) of the mid-size sedan.

The Skoda Rapid boasts of features like projector headlamps with LED DRLs, front and rear fog lights, rear diffuser, body-coloured spoiler, front and rear side dark green glasses with infrared cut, front and rear windscreen glasses with infrared cut, 16-inch Clubber alloy wheels, leatherette seat upholstery, 8-inch Skoda touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, rear view camera and four airbags.
