Problem with planting Land Mines

My problem is simple. When I press P in order to plant a mine in CS 1.6, nothing happens. Yes I do bind it first on the ground or the wall. Apparently no one has this problem beside me, so I thought maybe there's something I had to do first. Please that would help a lot, and thanks.

Hello , not following the sections rules exposes you to punishment, be careful next time , and for binds put this in ur console.

 

bind "KEY" "createlaser"
bind "KEY" "takelaser"
