EvKirito Posted January 20, 2021 Share Posted January 20, 2021 Domino's Dominican Republic held the awards ceremony of the first contest 'Micro-films for sustainable mobility', carried out within the activities of the Mobility Week 2020, in which the winners were “Unámonos por un mobility Sostenible”, “Eco” and “De path ”, in the first, second and third place, respectively. The contest seeks to create awareness about the negative consequences of the irrational use of cars in the city, both for public health and the environment, the challenges of the vehicle fleet in Santo Domingo and the benefits of using more sustainable modes of transport , the use of the bicycle and the trips on foot. The selection of winners was made taking into account the treatment of the values developed about the topic addressed, without exposing groups or minorities to vulnerable positions. The degree of communicative Inclusion of the project, just as the scenes contain communicative richness and that the scenes were understood by the greatest number of people, not implying simplicity, but rather complexity. The award ceremony was held at the Domino's store in the Galerías 360 shopping center, where representatives of the sponsoring brands and the winners gathered. The event had the proper biosecurity measures required by the health protocols for COVID-19, with health precautions that guarantee the safety of all attendees. The Microfilms contest was open to all people without restrictions, the projects were presented individually and in groups. In it, productions by amateurs, film students, film professionals and the general public were presented. The project had the collaboration of brands such as: Domino's Dominican Republic, TCCC (The Coca-Cola Company), INTRANT (Institute of Land Transportation), One Click Dominican Republic, Aro y Pedal, ASOMOEDO (Dominican Electric Mobility Association) , Agora Mall and Zero Emissions.
