25 years ago Porsche presented a model that would quickly become historic: the Porsche Boxster. Yes, a quarter of a century has passed since that time. It launched it on the market as a roadster of lower size, performance and price than the mythical 911. In addition, it helped the brand with the economic difficulties in the 90s. A tribute in the form of a special edition to commemorate the silver anniversary could not be missing.

The limited edition Porsche Boxster 25th Anniversary consists of 1,250 units for the whole world. It is based on the GTS version, so it has the 4.0-liter boxer engine with 400 hp. Of course, if you think about acquiring one you must hurry and have the 109,443 euros that it costs with manual transmission, or 113,156 if you prefer the PDK transmission.

This limited series seeks to reinterpret some details of the first generation, known with the code 986. That is why it is in the metallic GT silver color used in the prototype presented back in 1993. The contrasting details of the exterior come from the hand of a tone copper, which can be seen in some parts of the front, in the 20-inch wheels, in the air intakes and also in the air intakes.

However, the Stuttgart brand also offers this 25th Anniversary Porsche Boxster in Deep Black Metallic and Carrara White Metallic. Other differentiators are the fuel filler flap with the Porsche lettering in aluminum, as is the sports exhaust. For its part, the windshield frame is black.

Its interior is also very striking. In this case, they have opted for burgundy leather, as well as a red soft top with the inscription "Porsche 25". For those customers who prefer it, both the interior leather and the hood can be in black.

The new model's standard equipment includes the aluminum interior pack, the 14-way electrically adjustable sports seats, the “Boxster 25” lettering on the door sill and the heated leather GT multifunction sports steering wheel.

Regarding the mechanics, the naturally aspirated six-cylinder boxer with 4.0 liters and 400 hp can go with a six-speed manual transmission, or with the delicious seven-speed PDK double clutch. Its maximum speed is no less than 293 km / h. The company claims that this variant with PDK gearbox and the Sport Chrono sports package can do the 0 to 100 km / h in 4 seconds.

Other important standard features are the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) sports suspension, which is 10 mm lower, as well as the Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) with mechanical limited-slip differential.
