It has been a long time that Ford has not had a pure all-terrain in its range. In all the years of absence, firms such as Jeep or GMC have stolen customer loyalty. However, this stage of lethargy has been forgotten with the development and commercial launch of the new Bronco. With it, the firm seeks to atone for its sins and reaffirm its tradition as a manufacturer of high-quality off-road vehicles.

All in all, the new Ford Bronco is a really round product. Saving the distances, we can say that with him they have worked the same miracle as Land Rover with the Defender. For technology, excellence and quality, it is at the same height as the Wrangler or Acadia. However, it still has something to prove: that it can offer a high-performance version and better off-road qualities. And that's what they would be working on now ...

The most powerful Ford Bronco It will not be called Raptor! It will be Warthog

Jeep has the Wrangler Rubicon 392 and Ford could have the Bronco Warthog. And you will ask, how do we know? Well, easy, is what seems to emerge from the registration application that the brand filed a few months ago with the USPTO. With it he seeks the legal protection of this denomination which, translated into Spanish, perfectly shows his intentions. Indeed, it means wild boar and if you know this animal a little you know what it is capable of.

Wild boars are tough, strong and their ability to climb and navigate rough terrain is spectacular. Well, there would be the explanation why the new Ford Bronco would make use of this name to designate its most radical and capable version. In fact, several sources suggest that his debut would be very close in time. What's more, they venture to indicate that it will be presented publicly in the first half of the year.

In terms of technique, the Ford Bronco Warthog will feature components inherited from the Ranger Raptor. Among them we must mention a more robust suspension or a higher power powertrain. The rumors circulating on the network suggest that it could be a V8. All in all, the arrival of a more restrained block 3.0-liter V6 is more plausible. Regarding its image, we must expect more aggressive lines and accessories.

We will have to be attentive to the evolution of this project. For now, the success that the new Bronco is reaping is undeniable. Its sales are so high that the waiting list exceeds a year and a half and this could put the spicier version a bit late. It will take patience and wait for registration approval to see what Ford's next step is.
