So far this week there have been four that have occurred of this nature, which significantly affects the energy service. Brigades of the entity are already working on the repair of the energy service. During the accident, the patana, which was moving loaded with various materials, destroyed the light poles, ornamental plants, throwing the power lines to the ground, for which in the place, in addition to a large blockage, there was suspension of electrical power. Details of the accident are unknown, as well as whether anyone was injured. Milton Morrison, administrator of the Southern Electricity Company (Edesur), went to the scene together with a brigade to repair the damage. There he denounced that this week there are four accidents of this type that have been registered in the area of his conception. "That truck that can be seen there in the background dragged the cables and caused seven electricity poles, here on the corner where Education is," he detailed in a video that he posted on his Twitter account (@MiltonMorrison). He asked drivers to drive more prudently, in order to avoid events of the nature that occurred in the area and the damage they usually cause. "We want to make a call for public awareness, because in a week there are four traffic accidents that have occurred and that leads us to give interruptions to our customers, so we call for conscience, to have a more responsible management , being able to measure the consequences, because that is affecting the service in Edesur and also in the other companies ”, he indicated. Morrison showed in the video the damage caused by the truck in the intersections of Máximo Gómez avenue and Santiago street. The poles were on the ground, as were several electrical cables. There were also plants on the sidewalks and several agents from the General Directorate of Traffic Safety and Land Transport (Digesett) and Edesur worked, the former making traffic viable and the latter in the repair of the energy service. "Together with the team, we are working to solve this situation, we ask all our clients for patience, I will show them how Av. Máximo Gómez is with Santiago at the moment," he said in another post.
