#Steeven.™ Posted January 7, 2021 Posted January 7, 2021 When the FCA Group gave the green light to the development of the Jeep Renegade, they never imagined that its impact would be so high. What's more, all hopes were pinned on its cousin, the Fiat 500X, as it continued the saga of success of the cute «Cinquino». Well, now that the firm is about to renew a large part of its offer, they will not forget to attack smaller segments either. Yes, because the Jeep Baby SUV is a fait accompli. The confirmation of the arrival of the Jeep Baby SUV took place a long time ago. The problem is that the project is kept under seven keys and the data on it is very limited. Some sources suggest that it will share a base with the future Fiat Panda and others that will not. In fact, now that FCA and PSA have joined, the base could be another one more apt to the paradigms facing the sector. But what about its design? How would you like it to be? The Jeep Baby SUV will be located below the Renegade and very close to the Panda Well, while we wait for the FCA Group (or Stellantis) to publish official material, here we have the first two renders. Thanks to the hand of KDesign we can imagine what the design lines of the expected Jeep Baby SUV would be like. If we take a quick look, we notice that its appeal is really high and it is all due to new batch details. Yes, because its creator has been inspired by the aesthetic code that gives life to the new Wagoneer. Thus, in the front we have some light groups that merge with the grill. At the bottom we have a bumper that looks like the one that the renewed Compass has released. The side view is more discreet, although it does not lack off-road details. We have a roof with specific bars, two-tone paint, some wheel arches protected by black plastic or some new-cast alloy wheels. Oh, and the red-toned brake calipers. Finally is behind. Here the lines are more "free" although the optics are very similar to the new Compass. The main difference between one and the other is that in the Baby SUV they are more fluid and do not have such a polygonal pattern. To finish off the set we have a gate with simple lines and a bumper that does not stand out from the set. As a detail, KDesign AG has placed the logo of the trailhawk versions in one corner. Be that as it may, the images we are seeing are not official, they are mere renders. However, the successful treatment it has received has resulted in a really beautiful and successful design. We will have to wait for news from the American firm, but if this model looks like the one we have in images and is the one that will come out of Tychy, we are facing a real giant killer. Patience. 3
