The sports car was developed on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the acrobatic flight squad of the Italian Air Force.

Sports car manufacturer Pagani once again surprised nut fans by presenting an exclusive model that will be limited to just three units and fetches an incredible value of almost 6 million euros. The vehicle, christened the Huayra Tricolore, was developed on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Frecce Tricolori, the acrobatic flight squad of the Italian Air Force, and hence it has a special design and a powerful engine that can deliver 852 hp. The Huayra Tricolore evokes the lines of the Aermacchi aircraft of the Italian air patrol and has components made from carbon and titanium, "specially designed and developed to achieve new goals in terms of lightness and performance," the company highlighted.

In this sense, its front splitter stands out more pronounced than other models to optimize downforce. It also has side extractors on the front bumper that increases the efficiency of the intercooler. The spoiler, made of carbon fiber, is another element that draws the attention of this new model that stole all the eyes of the international press when it was presented. Inside, meanwhile, Pagani assured that he was strongly inspired by the planes of the National Aerobatic Patrol "and honors them in every detail." Thus, all aluminum components are made from aerospace grade alloys. "The shift knob, on the other hand, was carved from a single block of aluminum and carbon," the company said.

 

 

In mechanical terms, the car sports a 5,980cc biturbo 36-valve V12 engine, developed specifically for Pagani by Mercedes AMG. It also highlights its 7-speed Xtrac AMT transverse transmission with electromechanical differential. The wheels, meanwhile, were forged in monolithic aluminum with a dimension of 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear.
