The company called Canoo presented its new vehicle that will seek to position itself strongly in the zero emissions cargo segment.

Over the years, Tesla positioned itself as the most relevant player in the electric automotive industry, with vehicles constantly appearing in the best-selling rankings and gradually increasing their autonomy. Considering this importance within the zero emissions segment, several new electric car manufacturers seek to follow the path of the Californian company and establish themselves in the most promising sector of the industry. The startup Canoo is one of them and in fact its new CEO, Tony Aquila, told The Verge that he seeks to promote the company as Elon Musk did with Tesla.

“When I invested in Canoo, I did not invest for a lifestyle vehicle. For me, I saw it as a derivative, but the real asset was this multipurpose delivery platform, ”he explained to the aforementioned medium. Hence, the executive seeks to reform the company by focusing on the development of multipurpose electric cars. "This is a re-founding of the company, as Elon did with Tesla," Aquila said, referring to how Musk became involved with the now-famous electric vehicle company shortly after its launch, founding and changing its trajectory. Sense added that Elon Musk "put money into (Tesla), just like me, he became the president, he had a different vision, he came out of the world of technology. So I can identify with and fully appreciate what he has done for the industry. In the midst of these statements, Canoo also presented its new multipurpose electric vehicle intended for last-mile deliveries.

While the largest alternative will be more than 5 meters long, more than two meters wide and a capacity of 14 cubic meters.
