#Steeven.™ Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 The Spanish designer Iago Valiño has imagined this BMW Motorrad X ESMC Off-Road, an electric motorcycle with a sidecar for off-road use. Valiño's idea is to create a practical and ecological vehicle for off-road riding. In this case, the sidecar is not designed to carry a passenger, but to transport objects, or spare batteries. Three LED headlights are also anchored in it, which are joined to another located on the left side of the motorcycle. The instrumentation is a small screen located in the upper part of the false tank. The small seat is a single-seater, so this bike is intended either for work use or for off-road fun, but it does not have the usual 'sides' road vocation. The riding position is, to say the least, curious, with a low and forward handlebar, more typical of a sports bike than an enduro one. The transmission is to the rear wheel, possibly by a hidden strap in its single-sided swingarm, without transmission to the sidecar wheel. The swingarm mounts a vertical shock absorber, without linkage. At the front there is an alternative system, similar to the Hossack, but on the BMW Motorrad X ESMC Off-Road two shock absorbers are used instead of one. It is still a design exercise, captured with some renderings, but it exposes an interesting and innovative motorcycle concept. 4
