The Bayer Leverkusen midfielder came out with discomfort from the Red's duel against Colombia and after that he has not played for his club again.

Charles Aránguiz has been injured for 50 days and it is not yet known when he could play again, as Leverkusen has treated the issue with caution and want to make sure that the 'Prince' is fully recovered to return to training.

Since his injury, he has missed eleven games for Leverkusen, including the momentous group stage matches of the Europa League and also the Red's two qualifying matches against Peru and Venezuela.

The hard injury that afflicts him
At first, Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz did not give more importance to the injury, when he reported it at a press conference, but so far there have been no further details on the Chilean's recovery.

The national midfielder returned to Germany with a discomfort in the Achilles tendon, after the first qualifying date against Uruguay and Colombia.

The club was aware of the physical discomfort of the 'Prince', but anyway he was lined up as a starter in the duel against Mainz on October 17, three days after the game against Colombia. He was substituted at half-time and so far he has not played again.

Völler's criticism of La Roja
In the midst of the cross statements between Reinaldo Rueda and Inter regarding Alexis Sánchez's care, Leverkusen's sports director Rudi Völler appeared to talk about the treatment of the players.

"What the Chileans do is very annoying, they don't take the clubs into account. Even when they are injured, they have to go play. You feel cheated," Völler told Bild, a month after Aránguiz began with his injury.

La Roja's concern for Aránguiz
When the Chilean's injury was made public, the German media gradually reported the progression of the physical discomfort that would prevent him from playing, so there was still illusion that he could reach the duels with Peru and Venezuela, but it was not like that .

With the information that Aránguiz would be ruled out for the first two games after the injury, everything was delayed and he has already been injured for 50 days, which also marginalized him from the last two qualifying matches.
