#Steeven.™ Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 Xabi López-Arostegui's best match (28 points with 6 of 7 in triples) with Joventut de Badalona gave the Catalans the victory (88-81) against a Casademont Zaragoza who still did not win after the arrival of Sergio Hernández. The green and black did not play a good game but the display of their forward was decisive especially in the last quarter when the Aragonese were eight up (63-71) and set eight consecutive points to tie the game and launch their team towards its eighth victory in the Endesa League. Joventut started well with a 7-0 run and a good defense from Ventura over Ennis. Four minutes it took the Zaragoza team to score their first points and put on their overalls and equalize the game (11-10, min. 8 ) at the hands of the debutant Bray and Brussino. Jonathan Barreiro's second triple gave the first advantage (20-22, min. 12) to the hands, who began to feel more comfortable on the floor and made the triples their best weapon in attack with Bray especially inspired (32-32 , min. 16). López-Arostegui gave the reply with ten points in the second quarter, but the losses of the ball punished the green and black and Ennis's success took the visitors to rest five up (39-44). Casademont Zaragoza started the third quarter just as badly as the first, conceding an 11-0 run that returned control to the hosts (50-44, min. 23) with Bassas and López-Arostegui scoring three. But the bad defense on the perimeter hand prevented him from breaking the crash. Benzing and Ennis tightened the score (63-63) at the end of the third quarter and extended the streak to 63-71 (min. 33) after two lost balls by Penya that ended with baskets by Ennis and Benzing. Xabi López-Arostegui appeared in time to add eight points that together with two free throws by Tomic gave a new turn to the scoreboard (74-71, min 36). A triple by Ventura put Joventut 80-73 at 2'46 "from the conclusion but Casademont Zaragoza did not give up. A triple by Ennis, the most outstanding of the hands with 24 points, and a two plus one from Bray forced Penya to a new effort (80-79) but a triple from López-Arostegui and two free throws from Dimitrijevic ensured the local triumph.
