The crossover box achieved a hard-earned victory at home against Antofagasta, to once again increase the gap of three points as leader of the national tournament.

Universidad Católica achieved a solid victory over Antofagasta 3-1 to once again increase the gap with La Calera and become the only leader of the tournament.

Diego Buonanotte and José Pedro Fuenzalida were the two figures in Ariel Holan's painting. The former River midfielder gave three assists, while the 'Chapa' scored the first two crossed goals.

UC got off to an offensive start, and it paid off quickly. At 6 ', Buonanotte played short a corner kick for José Pedro Fuenzalida, who made a diagonal and finished at the near post to open the account from outside the area.

The 'Pumas' did not take long to react, and at 13', Tobías Figueroa tied with a header in the area after a free kick from Jason Flores.

After the tie, the crusaders regained dominance of the game and managed to unbalance at 29 ', with a play that had to be ratified by the VAR. The & # 39; Chapa & # 39; entered the area only to head after a center from Buonanotte, but in the first instance the linesman took a lead position, which was later corrected by the VAR.

A few minutes later, at 33 ', Buonanotte sent a remarkable corner kick into the box, which Valber Huerta headed alone and made it 3-1 for the Crusaders.

From then on, both teams had options to score, but both González and Dituro had good interventions to save their teams.

In the second half, Antofagasta began pressing to go look for the discount, and at 52 'he achieved it with a great control of Figueroa and subsequent definition, but there was a millimeter offside that was later confirmed by the VAR.

Of course, a few minutes later, Antofagasta managed to discount. At 56 ', Jason Flores took a corner kick, which Freitas headed into the area to make it 3-2.

The crusaders did not let Antofagasta take advantage of the good moment after the discount, and Juan Fuentes, at 59 ', scored his first goal since his arrival at UC, with an excellent angle definition after a rejection in the puma area.

When it seemed that the UC would have a calm end of the game, at 80 'Rebolledo's foul arrived in the area and the judge sanctioned a penalty. Felipe Flores got ready to finish, Dituro saved, but left the rebound in the area and Flores himself scored the 4-3.

A new penalty, this time for UC, sanctioned the victory for the crusaders. Cordero went down in the area to Lezcano, and Zampedri finished off to reaffirm the triumph of Holan's team and once again have three points of advantage over La Calera.
