#Steeven.™ Posted November 15, 2020 Posted November 15, 2020 To this day, no one can doubt the good performance and success of the Renault Megane. The compact Gaul, generation after generation, has proven to be a product with a great quality-equipment ratio. In fact, it has been the current one that has shown that it can approach premium rivals without embarrassment. For this, it has a latest-batch technological and mechanical offer. However, every great bet has a weak point ... We refer, as it could not be, to the absence in many markets of the Renault Megane Sedan. Already in the previous installment, when they marketed the Fluence, its sales volume plummeted. Therefore, they decided that it would only be available in those countries where demand justified its production. Well, after four years on sale it has been the turn of undergoing a light, very light, restyling to update its image and technique. The Renault Mégane Sedan is not sold in Spain, but it is in Portugal If we look at the image of the Renault Mégane Sedan, we will realize that it is a mini Talisman. The basic lines that define its appearance remain unchanged, although new features appear as usual. The most obvious is in the headlights that, following the hatchback version, receive Full Led Pure Vision technology. We can also have a new front grill, bumper or side deflector. The side view is the one that receives the least changes, settling for new alloy wheels that can be 16, 17 or 18 inches. Finally, there is the rear, which maintains the original design of its headlamps with LED light for daytime driving. Nor can we overlook the renewed color palette that one of its bets has in the Highland Gray tone. Optionally, the door handles can have lighting. Inside, the Renault Mégane Sedan MY2021 offers more technology. The improvement focuses on a configurable digital instrument cluster. It comes to life through a 10.25-inch screen and is complemented by the new 9.3-inch central touchscreen for the EASY LINK infotainment system. There will also be a selector for driving modes (Eco, Comfort, Sport and MySense) or new active driving aids. Regarding the mechanical offer, the Mégane Sedan will not have the E-TECH hybrids. When marketed in emerging markets, such as Turkey, its offer is made up of well-known gasoline and diesel versions. Thus, the new 1.0 TCe with 115 CV and 1.33 TCe of 140 CV are not lacking. For its part, the diesel is in charge of the undaunted 1.5 Blue dCi and 115 hp. The transmissions are manual of 5 or 6 relations or automatic EDC with 7 enclaves. 2
