The future, or rather the present, is in the SUV segment. Barring a dramatic setback in history and the economic situation, customers seem to never tire of these types of vehicles. That's why they've been designing and building the Lotus Lambda for a while. Yes, so what it looks like its first all road will be called. Now, in addition to knowing this name, we have access to some renderings that show what its final design would be like.

Although the Lotus Lambda project is kept under high secrecy, we already know many of its details. One of the most painful, for the brand, has to do with the design that it seems to wear. Yes, because about three years a series of sketches were leaked in a patent office. The problem is that at this time we have not had knowledge about the possible progress, or not, of the necessary work to complete its development.

Well, thanks to the guys from Kolesa we have had access to these renderings. To create the Lotus Lambda that you can see they have pulled the sketches that we mentioned before. All in all, its design is modern and fresh, presenting curved and smooth lines in areas such as the front. However, there are elements such as the headlights or grille that "look" a bit like those used by some Jaguar models.

The side view is much more powerful, with a marked coupe format. A very low roof line or very marked wheel arches help this. Expressive tension lines are also on the doors, shaping what appears to be a ventilation outlet. All this will be accompanied by different chrome trim, plastic protections that run under the body or alloy wheels finished in black.

Finally we see how they have executed behind. Here we have some large headlamps in contrast to the small size of the rear window. For decoration, it has a center molding finished in gloss black. The air is similar to other models seen in the brand, although there is also an aftertaste of Ferrari. The design and size of the rear bumper is powerful as well as the integrated tailpipes at the ends.

 

When is the Lambda expected to arrive?
If everything goes according to plan, it should see the light of day in 2022. And so far we can read, because the rest of the data on the English SUV is a mystery. The last time we heard from him the news suggested that he would share technique with Volvo.
