Starting at 10:00 this Tuesday, the Chamber began the debate on the idea of legislating the bill that allows a second withdrawal of 10% of pension funds, including some indications.

The initiative was once again rejected by the Government, but parliamentarians from Chile Vamos endorsed the project, both to relieve families affected by the pandemic, as well as as a way to revitalize the economy.

Likewise, there is a sector from Chile Vamos that seeks that the withdrawal is focused on people who have seen their income diminished during the pandemic.

17:23: The Chamber finalizes the voting of indications and dispatches to the Senate the project of second withdrawal of 10% of AFP.

17.00: The Chamber approves, with 130 votes in favor, the second withdrawal of 10% of the pension funds (AFP). The voting of indications in the room continues.

16.58: The Chamber of Deputies approves, with 150 votes in favor, the bill that enables the withdrawal of pension funds in the case of people affected by a terminal illness. It returns to the Constitution Commission for its discussion in particular.

16.51: The deputy, Loreto Carvajal (PPD), assured that the country owes a debt to health in general and especially to catastrophic situations in the case of terminally ill patients.
