Savadori, nuevo piloto de Aprilia para 2020.

Lorenzo Savadori will make his MotoGP debut, riding the Aprilia RS-GP, at the European Grand Prix, scheduled at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia between November 6 and 8.

Savadori will replace Bradley Smith as rider of the Aprilia Racing Team Gresini team in the rest of the grand prix that remain until the conclusion of the 2020 MotoGP world championship, also in the Grand Prix of the Valencian Community on November 15, always in the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Cheste, and at the Portuguese Grand Prix, in Portimao, on November 22.

The rider is the current Italian SBK champion after dominating the 2020 CIV top flight with six victories and two second places in the eight races held on his Aprilia RSV4 from the Nuova M2 Racing team.

An extraordinary performance, obtained in a championship of the most contested against rivals of the highest level that, together with his work as a MotoGP test rider since the beginning of the season, has allowed him to achieve the challenge of making his debut in the highest category of motorcycling world.

"First of all I want to thank Bradley Smith for all the effort made throughout the season, as he has had the responsibility of leading the evolution of the bike on his shoulders and his contributions have been very valuable. Now we hope that this Emotion and knowledge can be transferred to us by Lorenzo's debut, in a promotion that is certainly the recognition of the great season, dominating the Superbike category ", affirms the team boss, Massimo Rivola.

"I arrived prepared for the challenge both thanks to the work developed throughout all this time as a test rider for the RS-GP and to the recently concluded CIV Superbike Championship, an intense and disputed competition that has forced me to have a maximum concentration to achieve all the goals. Now I have to sort out my ideas, collect data on all the kilometers I travel on the RS-GP and soon find a way to stay focused from the first practice sessions, "adds Savadori.
