Additional testing has returned no further positive Covid-19 cases at Motherwell after one player was forced to self isolate.

The Fir Park club conducted precautionary tests due to a player returning a positive result on Tuesday.

None of the club's other players or staff have tested positive or been asked to isolate after contact tracing.

It means Saturday's Scottish Premiership match with Ross County can go ahead.

Motherwell director charged for referee comments
The unidentified player will miss the visit of County as Motherwell play their first game in four weeks after having two league fixtures postponed as a result of outbreaks at Kilmarnock and St Mirren combined with the international break.

Last weekend's match against St Mirren was called off just three hours before kick-off due to the Paisley club being left with only eight outfield players.

That led to Motherwell coach Maurice Ross claiming that any club unable to fulfil a fixture should forfeit the points.
