If we take a look at the side, we will discover solutions for SUVs. We have a high hood that allows the wheel arches to increase in size. The headroom seems higher and the alloy wheels are more generous and showy. All completed with a raised waist line and muscular shapes. We cannot ignore the integration of the handles, the slim mirrors or the “camouflage” of the rear doors.

Finally we can not forget behind. Thanks to a descending roof line, it offers a coupe style that is not forced at all. The spoiler that crowns the small rear window reinforces its dynamism as well as the format of the LED optics. The tailgate and bumper lines are muscular. The central area houses the Renault logo and under it the name of the concept. Finally, it eliminates the exhaust outlets and integrates an elegant chrome diffuser.

 

The Mégane eVision is based on the CMF-EV platform

On a technical level, the Renault Mégane eVision is based on the modern CMF-EV platform. Its development has taken place in recent years and the first model to release it was the Nissan Ariya. The Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance has made every effort to offer the best solutions and it seems that it will be. According to the release of the Mégane eVision, it has the thinnest battery on the market.

To be more specific, the powertrain of the Renault Mégane eVision has an electric motor of 217 hp and 300 Nm of maximum torque located on the front axle. Its power is provided by a lithium ion battery with a capacity of 60 kWh. Thanks to this set, it will offer an acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 8 seconds. Regarding the load, for now it is only known that it can be at 130 kW with a direct current charger.
