The official spokesperson of the Presidency of State Security stated that, as a result of the security follow-up of the activities of terrorist elements, the competent authorities in the presidency were able, on 2/5/1442 AH, to overthrow a terrorist cell that received its members during the period between 2/9 to 3/20 of the year 1439 AH, inside the Revolutionary Guard sites in Iran, military and field training, including the methods and methods of making explosives, where security investigations led to identifying the identities of those elements and identifying two locations for them that they had taken as a den to store quantities of weapons and explosives, and the security operation resulted in the following results:
First: The arrest of the members of this cell, numbering (10) accused, three of them received training in Iran, while the rest were associated with the cell in different roles, and the interest of the investigation requires that the identities of those arrested should not be revealed at the present time.
Second: Seizing an amount of weapons and explosives hidden in two locations, one of which is a house and the other is a farm, and the seizures are as follows:
1- Number of (9) explosive elbows, in case of entanglement.
2 - Number of (67) explosive fuses.
3- Number (51) electric explosive devices.
4- A wide range of capacitors, electrical transformers and electronic resistors used in entrapping and manufacturing explosives.
5 - Count (5.28) kg of fine and coarse powder.
6- Number (17) packages containing chemicals.
7- Number (13) transmitters and receivers of electrical signals.
8- Number of (2) circuit receiving switches.
9- Four (4) advanced listening devices.
10- One (1) welding machine.
11- Four Kalashnikov submachine guns.
12- One (1) G3 rifle.
13- One (1) sniper rifle.
14- Two (2) pistols.
15- One (1) pneumatic hunting rifle.
16- The number (4,620) of various live ammunition.
17- Number (18) machine gun and pistol magazines.
18- 6-inch homemade weapons plastic storage container.
19- (1) bag containing weapon cleaning equipment.
20- Fourteen white combat weapons (knife).
21 Military clothing.
22- Two (2) sniper scope.
23- (1) Night telescopes.
24. Three (3) wireless communication devices.
25- One (1) laptop computer.
26- Two (2) Qarmen mapping system.
27. (1) sunglasses equipped with a camera, storage memory and battery.
28- Number (11) mobile phones.
29- Two smart tablets.
30- Number (5) external storage memories, and (6) internal storage memories.
The competent authorities conduct investigations with all those arrested to find out more information about their activities and the persons connected to them internally and externally, and to refer them after the investigations complete their procedures to the judiciary.
