As for the number of deaths, the department headed by Salvador Illa has registered 114 more deaths from Covid-19 this Friday. This brings the global death toll from Covid-19 in Spain to 31,232 people. There are currently 11,006 patients admitted for Covid-19 throughout Spain and 1,465 in an ICU, although in the last 24 hours there have been 1,358 admissions and 1,107 discharges. The occupancy rate for beds occupied by coronavirus is already 8.14 percent and 17.17 percent in ICUs. Of the 4,122 new cases, 1,001 have been diagnosed in Madrid, while 381 in Andalusia, 433 in Aragon, 91 in Asturias, 45 in the Balearic Islands, 250 in the Canary Islands, 69 in Cantabria, 163 in Castilla-La Mancha, 153 in Castilla and León, 68 in Catalonia, 17 in Ceuta, 89 in the Valencian Community, 317 in Extremadura, 141 in Galicia, 16 in Melilla, 81 in Murcia, 315 in Navarra, 357 in the Basque Country and 135 in La Rioja. Regarding deaths, 1,744 deaths have been registered in Andalusia (54 in the last week); in Aragon 1,360 (39 in the last seven days); in Asturias 343 (two in the last week); in the Balearic Islands 287 (eight in the last seven days); in the Canary Islands 220 (10 in a week); in Cantabria 233 (two in the last seven days); in Castilla-La Mancha 3,111 (22 in the last week); and in Castilla y León 2,994 (51 in the last seven days). In addition, 5,829 people have died in Catalonia as a result of the coronavirus (six in the last seven days); In Ceuta, 10 deaths have been recorded since the beginning of the pandemic (one in the last week); in the Valencian Community 1,583 (24 in the last seven days); in Extremadura 564 (19 in one week); in Galicia 726 (21 in the last seven days); in Madrid 9,213 (159 in the last seven days); in Melilla four; in Murcia 201 (one in the last seven days); in Navarra 563 (10 in the last seven days); in the Basque Country 1,838 (30 in the last seven days); and in La Rioja 409 (16 in the last seven days). 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
