The game started evenly, with some inaccuracies, especially in the premises, and the Quabit BM Guadalajara taking the initiative on the scoreboard until near the equator of the first half, the Sinfín took the lead (5-4). Neither team found the goal easily, but Liberbank Cantabria Sinfín got a small income of two goals in the following minutes, with Ramiro very inspired from the right wing. The Quabit BM Guadalajara did not break down and soon returned to establish the tie, although finally the Sinfín achieved a minimal advantage before taking the tunnel of the changing rooms (12-11). In the resumption, the Cantabrian team took advantage of the exclusion of Dariel García to get three goals up (14-11), the biggest difference so far.
