The Hamamatsu brand is celebrating. This year 2020 marks the first centenary of the founding of the company, which has led Suzuki to create a special and limited edition of its superbike, the Suzuki GSX-R1000R. This edition will only sell 20 numbered units in the Spanish market.

The first thing to note is that this limited version uses the same retro colors on its fairing as the MotoGP GSX-RR. In the World Cup, the Spanish Alex Rins and Joan Mir compete with her. As you know, it wears the blue and silver tones, with which it pays tribute to the first motorcycles with which the brand competed in the great prizes during the 60s.

Suzuki Spain comments that this limited edition of its Suzuki GSX-R1000R will be available in the month of November, with a price of 22,895 euros which includes a three-year warranty and Premium roadside assistance. Yes, it is not exactly an economic price, but we already know the figures in which these 1,000 cc supercars move. for a few years.

As for the technical part, we must remember that this is a motorcycle whose heart is a block of 1,000 cubic centimeters of four strokes and four cylinders. This bike develops 202 hp for 202 kilos of weight. Of course, the transmission is 6-speed.

In the front end we are received by an inverted telescopic hydraulic fork. Meanwhile, at the rear it uses, as usual, a hydraulic monoshock with connecting rods. The fuel tank capacity is 16 liters. Finally, the approved consumption is 5.9 l / 100 km, although in real life it will be some more.
