Kawasaki Z800 F

KAWASAKI Z800

PT Kawasaki Motor Indonesia (KMI) has finally completed the premium class motorcycle from its Z series.

If the public is more busy talking about the Ninja ZX-10R series which is a motorbike with a racing aura, then this does not mean that this will make PT KMI 'forget' the Kawasaki Z family.

Yes, on this occasion we will discuss the Kawasaki Z800 which is one of the highest series of the Kawasaki Z Series family.

A little flashback, the Kawasaki Z800 street fighter genre motorbike itself was first presented in Indonesia in 2013.

When motorbike fans in Indonesia were in love with the type of large cc sports motorbike, the Z800 managed to get attention in the street fighter motorcycle segment with the Ninja ER6 N.

The Kawasaki Z800 is known as a street fighter-style moge that has fierce performance and steady acceleration.

The muscular body with a pretty 'spooky' look remains on the new Kawasaki Z800. PT KMI presents the Z800 as well as the age of the Kawasaki Z series which is now 40 years old. So, the Kawasaki Z800 is also presented to provide a more exclusive driving impression.

The 2015 Kawasaki Z800, announced this September, is an updated version of the previous Z800 series. Although the changes are not too flashy, the Z800 creates this latest generation that still gives a fresh aura that compiles its more aggressive body concept.

As a premium motorbike, the Kawasaki Z800 is still equipped with a 'gahar' engine in the form of a 16 valve inline DOHC 4-stroke engine with a cubication of 806 cc.

The presence of this machine will provide a steady traction accompanied by stable performance when the Kawasaki Z800 is invited to drive at high speeds.

The liquid-cooled engine uses Fuel Injection technology in the fuel system which will turn on a more perfect system in the spur of the kitchen space.

To give a handsome 'tongkrongan' effect, the Kawasaki Z800 is actually built on the basis of the Kawasaki Z750's chassis, but with improvements to the aluminum subframe on each side of the engine which makes the vibration of the engine smoother.

As we know, the specifications of the Kawasaki Z800 have a body design that is thick with the aura of a true street fighter.

With a straightforward design full of sharp curves, the Z800 really looks dashing like a motorized motorcycle over 1,000 cc.

Starting from the headlamp design, a fierce impression is immediately visible from the Kawasaki Z800 headlamp design. Shaped like a predator, this new motorcycle headlamp from Kawasaki looks so 'cruel'.

From the side, the Z800's body also exudes a dashing impression with the curved design upper engine combined with the lower-placed shrouds this time.

The new Kawasaki Z800 body concept makes the street fighter aura more noticeable. For the seat, this new motorbike has adopted a separate or split seat model so that this motorbike will be comfortable for the pillion.

Then, in the taillights, the Kawasaki Z800 has adopted an LED taillight design that is slimmer, but still beautiful.

The fierce impression of this new motorbike from Kawasaki is added to the engine cover or under cowl which is sharp angled.

Moving on to the engine, all the outer parts on the machine are painted black matte finish until the muffler, except for the muffler muzzle which is sweetened with silver accents. Then, the handlebar on the Kawasaki Z800 also adopts the typical street fighter handle bar model.

The specifications of the Kawasaki Z800 in the design section are also enhanced by a large muffler with a very futuristic shape. So, the new style carried by the Z800 really smells like street fighter.

After being satisfied to review on the outside of the Kawasaki Z800 specifications, now is the time to find out what changes Kawasaki has to offer in the kitchen runway sector.

For the engine part, it seems that there are not too significant changes with the previous version of the Kawasaki Z800.

Even so, Kawaski claims to have made an update to the new Z800 engine for the better.

Just like the old version, the Kawasaki Z800 still relies on a DOHC 4-stroke in line 16 valve engine which has a cubication of 806 cc.

The engine is supplied with fuel by an injection system using the Mikuni device with dual valves.

With the support of a 6-speed manual transmission, the Kawasaki Z800 engine is capable of producing 83 kW of power or the equivalent of 113 PS at 10,200 rpm.

As for the torque, the Kawasaki Z800 engine is capable of producing 83.0 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm.

So, in terms of engine performance, the Kawasaki Z800 series still produces a truly ferocious engine performance.

Not to forget, Kawasaki also uses digital ignition system technology to improve combustion in its engine room.

Even though it has "terrible" power, the Kawasaki Z800 specification in this part of the engine is still suitable for daily driving needs.
