This extravagant breed of SUV, which has barely existed for a decade, also carries an entry price that ensures it is among the most recognizable cars on our roads. We think the 10 cars below are some of the best of their kind, or are set to shake up the segment once they arrive. 1. Aston Martin DBX The Aston Martin DBX is arguably one of the hottest newcomers of 2020. Much of the British brand's future success rests on its shoulders, and so far this latest addition to the ever-expanding super-SUV segment has done nothing but admire. Crucially, it drives the same as Aston - albeit it weighs 2.3 tons and is 1.68 meters high. The AMG's 4.0-liter V8 engine delivers stunning performance and a devilish-sounding soundtrack, while its ability to travel long distances is rather impressive. It can run off road as well. Niggles include a slightly noisy low-speed ride and a cockpit that provides some ground in terms of outright physical appeal. No doubt a full road test will confirm how truly capable the new Aston Martin is, but at the moment it is without a doubt the driver's choice in this exclusive segment of the market.
