ITS OZX- Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 The Spanish club Barcelona announced, on Saturday, that its new Bosnian midfielder, Miralem Pjanic, has been infected with the new Corona virus. And the Catalan club wrote in a statement that Pjanic (30 years), who was transferred from Juventus at the end of last June, "tested positive after suffering some discomfort," according to Agence France-Presse. He added that the player is in good health and isolated at home. "For this reason, the player will not travel to Barcelona for 15 days to join the team." This development comes at a time when indications are increasing that the Argentine star, Lionel Messi, will leave Barcelona this summer, and if this happens, the Spanish club will lose its most prominent players throughout history. The Uruguayan, Luis Suarez, is also close to leaving Camp Nou, Barcelona's stronghold, according to news reports. The Spanish club sacked its coach, Quique Setien, after losing to Baren Munich, 8-2, in the Champions League quarter-finals last week, in a defeat described as "humiliating", and Barcelona appointed Ronald Koeman as his successor. With this defeat, Barcelona emerged empty-handed from the leagues at the domestic and continental levels.
